can you acess this wifi router and files remoutely. For exampl. you want to show or share some pictures for somebody far away. Is there possibility?

In reply to neville. No, the speed is pretty good as long as you're not too far from the router. I can stream HD movies without any issue and when I'm in the same room, transferring a 4GB movie takes just about 5 minutes.

Hi,
1. I’m using my PC to transfer files. Once you connect it to your network, you can find the new drive in Finder / File Explorer.
2. Yes, I can stream videos directly from the Xiaomi to my Sony Android TV. You can use apps like Plex.
3. The range is better than some cheap routers with multiple antennas.

1. What are you doing to transfer files? Using phone app? Transferring from PC? I get a lot of failed transfers without any error warning.

2. You mention that you were looking for a media system. How are you using it as a media system? Can your smart TV recognize it over wifi and stream directly from it?

3. How does it compare in terms of range and quality with other xiaomi router with multiple antennas?
